My husband is a Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer fanatic! He especially likes Yukon Cornelius. Some say they look alike! He's got shirts, pajama pants, door hangers, magnets, and even knows the words to the TV show by heart!  Imagine my surprise when I discovered you had free patterns for all the characters. I just knew I had to make a quilt even though paper piecing was not my favorite style of making blocks. 

I wanted it to be a surprise so I could only sew when my husband was gone. We are both retired so that was a challenge finding alone time. But I did! It took me almost a year to get it done. I even had some of my quilting friends help me rip the paper off. I gave it to him for Christmas last year and he uses it every single day. I love how much he supports my quilting lifestyle.

I fell in love with The Project Of Doom, years ago! I was a student librarian, in high school. I love bookcases, books, and Harry Potter! I made a large one, that won 1st place at our local fair. 

One wasn't enough, so I made a twin size. I'm so thankful to the people who designed the blocks, and to Jennifer, for "DOOM". I'm considering another one.
